PHOENIX, ARIZ. -- Grand Canyon University and StatBroadcast Systems announced today that GCU will use the StatBroadcast Live and StatMonitr stat systems for its home athletic events throughout the 2014-15 academic year.
GCU will utilize the StatBroadcast Live platform to provide fans with live action of GCU athletic events from their computers, tablets, smart TVs and mobile devices. Fans will be able to follow all of the action starting this fall from any internet-enabled device from GCUSTATS.COM. Additionally, GCU will utilize the StatMonitr media stats system and wireless screens to provide real-time stats data to staff and media covering the events.
GCU will also use StatBroadcast to display real-time stats in HD on scoreboards and screens throughout the GCU Arena when it reopens in September following its expansion project this summer. GCU will be the first athletic program to utilize StatBroadcast’s scoreboard output for its home games; the Pac-12 Conference uses the same technology to display stats within the MGM Grand Garden Arena at its men’s basketball tournament.
