StatBroadcast to provide live stats for Samford University in 2014-15

BIRMINGHAM, ALA. -- Samford University will use the StatBroadcast Live platform to simulcast live stats from its athletic events to internet and mobile devices in 2014-15.

Samford University is a private university located in the Homewood suburb of Birmingham, Alabama. Samford was founded in 1841 as Howard College and has a current enrollment of more than 2880 students today. The Samford Bulldogs are members of the Southern Conference of NCAA Division-I FCS and sponsor 17 varsity sports. Samford is not only the alma mater of Hall of Fame coach Bobby Bowden, but he served as offensive coordinator for two years and also led the Bulldogs as head coach for three seasons.
