StatBroadcast selected as stats provider for BIG3 3-on-3 Basketball League

MEDFORD, NJ --

StatBroadcast has been selected as the official stats provider for the BIG3, an American professional 3-on-3 basketball league which begins its inaugural season on Sunday, June 25 in Brooklyn.

In collaboration with TurboStats Software, who has developed the scorekeeping software, StatBroadcast has created a stats solution for the league, which will feature unique rules and statistical metrics including four point shots and two, three and four point free throw shots; StatBroadcast will be simulcasting live stats of the entire season of games on both mobile devices and the web, and will also be providing scoreboard displays in the league’s venues.

The BIG3 is beginning its inaugural season of half court 3-on-3 basketball, which will feature eight teams made up of former NBA players, and will play four games per day for eight weeks at a different college or professional basketball venue each weekend. The regular season will be followed by a four-game playoff round on August 20 from KeyArena in Seattle and culminating with the championship finals on August 26 at the new T-Mobile Arena on the Las Vegas Strip.
